Organic flour is used to create a circular dough dam over the site of treatment (along the spine, heart, eye, liver, etc.). Warm medicated oil infused with herbs is poured into the dough dam, concentrating the healing benefits of the oil where it's applied. Yakrut (liver) Basti is placed over the liver and helps to cleanse and strengthen this vital organ. Yakrut basti is indicated with a congested fatty liver, gallstones, and mononucleosis and can help with chronic fatigue.
