Service Description

Organic flour is used to create a circular dough dam over the site of treatment (along the spine, heart, eye, liver, etc.). Warm medicated oil infused with herbs is poured into the dough dam, concentrating the healing benefits of the oil where it's applied. Hrid (heart) Basti is placed either over the sternum or back of the heart. Hrid basti works on the physical and emotional spaces of the heart and is helpful in releasing unresolved emotions and deep-seated grief. Hrid basti nourishes cardiac muscles, soothes the lungs, and calms Vata dosha encouraging proper flow throughout the body.
